Chris Tombasco  - Bass/Vocals/Guitars:

Chris is a recent immigrant to Virginia, having moved down last year from Pennsylvania for work. He's been playing music since grade school, starting on trumpet and then transferring to bass and vocals for a family band with his older brothers. Since then, he has played in numerous bands with styles including pop hits, motown, classic rock, southern rock, 60s, country, trop rock, funck, and jazz. Along the way Chris has picked up guitar, banjo, mandolin, and both lead and harmony vocals, though his usually sticks with bass and vox for Modern Vintage. With Chris's soaring high tenor vocals, outstanding bass playing, musical talents and passion and love for music, he is a very exciting addition to The Modern Vintage Family and is the primary bassist for Modern Vintage.

Reed Livergood - Bass/Vocals/Guitarist:
A Midwestern native with a corporate job in the Washington, DC area, Reed Livergood doesn’t quite fit into your standard musical performer.  He grew up playing piano, singing at church, and by college taught himself acoustic guitar and was writing music.  Since getting a music degree in vocal performance, Reed has performed with choruses and bands from Missouri to DC with international appearances in Russia and South Korea.  Since moving to the Washington DC area, Reed has played bass guitar and sung with “Nocturnal Inferno,” “The Backburners,” as well as performed solo at local venues.  Currently, Reed sings with the Alexandria Harmonizers (AH)men’s chorus and has played with “Modern Vintage” as their bassist/vocalist/guitarist since  4/2014. Reed greatly helped Modern Vintage achieve the success we have today and we are blessed he has been part of the Modern Vintage and continues to join us for specific shows:)!
